Here at Lease Loop, we love supporting creative talent from up and down the country and today we will be supporting Birmingham’s creative community at the Behance Portfolio Review.
Behance Portfolio Review will take place from 9 am within one of Birmingham’s most prized possessions, the Ikon Gallery. The event will give creatives from across the city a chance to receive feedback on their work from other creatives. There will also be guest speakers from the industry discussing their experiences and what it takes to be successful within the industry.
Kicking off the event will be Adrian Iliescu. Situated in the creative hub that is the Custard Factory, Adrian’s current role is as Lead Designer for Advertising and Marketing Agency, Bareface. Adrian has an extensive knowledge of the creative industry – specialising in Branding, Digital Design and UX. Adrian’s mission is to start a creative community for the city of Birmingham and we are proud to be supporting his first event, Behance.
Following Adrian will be Karl Randay. Karl’s current role is as Head of Design for 383 agency based in the historic Jewellery Quarter. Karl has 15 years of extensive industry knowledge, becoming an award-winning Experience Designer and Creative Strategist. We cannot wait to hear Karl discuss his own creative processes.
Ian Dobbs will also be present at the event. His current role is as Deputy Programme Leader at Birmingham City University as well as working as a Freelance Illustrator for the likes of Radio Times, Guardian, The Economist, Independent on Sunday and many more. Ian’s work specialises in Editorial, Book Covers and Illustration – perfect for those Creative Cloud users out there!
