When it comes to selecting a new Apple product there are a number of choices that you can make to get the exact product you want. Processing power, storage capacity and size are just some of the options that are available to you.
However, colour is becoming increasingly important. If you consider some of Apple’s most popular product lines, here are the colour choices that are available to you.

Of course with Apple’s (PRODUCT)RED (a special line of red products that they produce to raise money for AIDS) and the various different colour Watch bands there are a huge array of choices that you can make to personalise your Apple product.
The thing that characterises these colour choices is that they are all, how shall we put it, safe. They are definitely sophisticated and sleek but they are not radical. How about having an iMac in Blue Dalmatian, Tangerine or even Flower Power!
Well in 2001 that is exactly how you could specify your iMac. The iMac is the most popular leased product that we offer and it adorns the desk of marketing agencies to Estate Agents across the UK. Everybody loves its sleek design, integrated display and most importantly what it says about their business.
However, the thought of walking into an agency that had wall to wall Blue Dalmatian iMacs is enough to bring a smile to our face. Sure, it’s probably not the professional look a RAR 100 agency is looking for, but tell me you’re not smiling at the thought?
So what iMac did you get in 2001? Well it was the G3, the first real collaboration between Steve Jobs and Sir Jony Ive. An iMac designed for the masses, it came with a PowerPC G3 processor, 64 or 128 MB RAM, 256 KB of memory, a CD-RW drive and an integrated 15-inch monitor. The full range of colours included the original Bondi Blue, Blueberry, Strawberry, Lime, Tangerine, Grape, Graphite, Indigo, Ruby, Sage, Snow, Flower Power and of course Blue Dalmatian.
At the time Jobs stated that he was heavily influenced by the 1960s. As we enter an era that is influenced by the fashion of the 80s perhaps we can expect this year’s Macs to be sporting shoulder pads and big hair!
